RTX 3060 ti Gaming PC
Built this on a budget using new and used parts for my daughter but it turns out she prefers playing on her PS5 so looking to sell it and recoup some of the costs. Not splitting and selling without a hard drive. Specs including how I have priced it up: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WIFI. Bought second hand and it did not include the antenna's so I purchased aftermarket. The IO has a bend at the top corner. No box. £30. CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600. Bought brand new in December. Original box and cooler included. £45. Memory - Aorus 8gb x 2 + 2 x dummy sticks. Original box included. £30. GPU - Aorus RTX 3060ti Elite. Used in my previous build, about 2 years old and only gamed on. Original box included. £250. Cooler - Thermalright Aqua Elite 360 V3 - Bought brand new in December. Original box and all accessories included. £25. PSU - Cooler master Master watt 650w semi modular, original box and cables included. £20. Case - Gamdias Atlas E1 WH Gaming ATX Mid Tower. Bought brand new in December. Original box but no foam included. £30. Note: Because it is a cheap case there was an issue with one standoff. I had to move one standoff into another thread to fit the ATX board and the threading it was in was stripped so I had to do a bit of prying and messed up the thread completely and slightly dented the metal but managed to get it out and into the correct hole. I also cannot seem to get the display to work. I suspected it might be because the motherboard did not have a USB 3 port so I purchased a usb 2 to usb 3 adaptor as I thought this may be where it gets its power from but after installing it the display still does not turn on so I am not sure. Will throw in the VPRO V500 S mechanical keyboard and gaming pad for free. Full transparency. Firstly, there have been occasions when powering on the PC the PC turns on but no display. After powering down and restarting the display works and the PC runs perfectly. I am certain this is not the GPU because I did not have this issue when it was in my rig. Could maybe be related to the bend of the IO of the motherboard but I am not sure and haven't really had time to troubleshoot properly. Regarding the RGB fans, because the motherboard only had one 3 pin ARGB connector I have used a cooler master 5 way splitter cable to connect the RGB. I have not tried any software to change the RGB and not sure how it would work with the 5 way splitter cable or if it is possible to change the RGB effects, currently it is just running a default rainbow type effect. The cable management is not the best but I tried my best.
