PCIFIC is a UK software company building trust and workflow technology for businesses.
Our platform checks information and supporting evidence, identifies gaps and inconsistencies, and turns complex product details into clear guidance. We help businesses give customers greater confidence and give their teams better information to work with.
Where we started
Our starting point was the PCIFIC used-tech marketplace. Rebuilding and operating it brought us close to the questions that can make buying and selling difficult:
- Is the description accurate?
- What is missing?
- What do the photographs actually show?
- Is this the right product for me?
We then built software to help answer those questions. That work became the foundation of PCIFIC for Business, our software platform with applications across marketplaces, retail and customer service.
PCIFIC for Business
PCIFIC for Business is a software platform for integration into your own tools and customer journeys. It operates independently of PCIFIC Marketplace, and your customers stay within your service.
The platform brings together listing assessment, buyer guidance, guided photo capture and image matching. You license only the capabilities you need.
Our software checks descriptions, photographs and supporting information, prompts for missing details and helps customers understand whether a product suits their needs. Guided photo capture helps document an item's visible condition, while image matching recognises copies of registered photographs, including after resizing or cropping.
These capabilities can support several parts of a customer journey: preparing a listing, assessing a trade-in, answering a product question or collecting condition evidence before a return or repair.
The common thread is clearer information at the point where someone needs to make a decision.

Alongside our software platform, we operate PCIFIC Marketplace, a dedicated place for UK consumers to buy and sell used technology.
Our experience of building and operating it continues to inform the software we develop.

PCIFIC is built by a neurodiverse founding team.
Our Co-Founder and CTO is autistic. We are committed to building a neurodiverse-first company where people can do their best work, including technical talent too often overlooked by traditional employers.
