How to Master Bulk Uploads on Pcific: A Complete Guide
Selling Your Used Electronics on Pcific
Selling your used electronics should be seamless and efficient. Whether you are a standard seller clearing out personal devices, a small team managing daily stock, or a large refurbisher handling massive inventory, our bulk upload tool is designed to save you hours of manual entry. Powered by Pcific AI, this feature automates everything from product mapping to condition grading.
Here is your step-by-step guide to getting your inventory live faster than ever.
1. Navigate to the Bulk Upload Tool
Getting started is simple. You can access the tool from two locations:
- Option A: Click on My Pcific in your account menu, then select Bulk Upload.
- Option B: Click Sell, scroll to the very bottom of the page, and click Bulk Upload by CSV.
2. Choose Your Upload Method
We built the system to be as flexible as possible. You have two powerful ways to input your data:
The Spreadsheet Method
Upload your existing inventory files directly. We accept CSV, TSV, or Excel files exported from Shopify, Amazon, or any custom format you use.
The Quick Text Method
If you prefer typing out your inventory, our system translates simple text directly into structured listings. For example:
- Typing "2x iPhone 14s" automatically sets up a quantity of two iPhone 14 listings.
- Typing "3x iPhone 15 128 GB white black, good condition, £600" will instantly generate three individual listings with those exact specifications.
- Typing "1x iPhone 14 Pro mint condition £1,300" creates a single, accurate listing ready for review.
3. Overcome Image Friction with Flexible Uploads
We know that handling and transferring images is a massive friction point for sellers. To solve this, we offer seamless ways to attach photos to your listings:
- Direct URL Downloads: For spreadsheet uploads, we currently only support image URLs. If you already have listings on your own website, you can simply paste the image URLs into your file. Our system will automatically download those images and attach them to your new listings. Please note: We cannot download images directly from eBay URLs, as this is against their Terms of Service.
- .zip File Method (Coming Soon): We are actively developing a bulk image upload feature. Soon, you will be able to provide a .zip file in your spreadsheet's image column, and our system will automatically unzip and map the images to the correct listings.
- Instant QR Sync: If your photos are on your phone, you do not need to AirDrop or email them to yourself. Simply scan the QR code on your desktop screen with your smartphone. This links the Pcific mobile site directly to your active desktop session. You can then select images straight from your phone's camera roll and upload them instantly to the listing.
4. Let Pcific AI Process the Data
Once your data is uploaded, the system takes just a few seconds to parse your information.
- Review the item count in the corner to ensure everything looks correct. If you need to start over, click Clear All.
- If ready, click the Process button.
- The screen will display "Analysing, searching product database..." as Pcific AI goes to work mapping your items to our catalog.
Our AI handles automatic grading during this step. If your file lists items as Grade A, Grade B, or Grade C, the system automatically translates those into the correct condition tags for your listings. Because this process can be time-consuming for large batches, feel free to step away. By the time you return, your inventory will likely be finished.
5. Review AI Confidence Levels
After processing is complete, you will see a detailed summary screen displaying:
- The processing status.
- The total number of processes handled.
- The amount completed successfully.
- The average AI confidence score.
Scroll down to look at individual items. Next to your pricing, you will see a specific confidence level. Pcific AI provides an explanation of its reasoning for this score, detailing exactly what it found in the database. If the AI is unsure about a match, you can easily review the explanation and clarify the details manually. Click to continue to review your listings.
6. Fix Missing Information with Pcific AI
You will now see an action key showing the amount imported, the amount ready, and the amount already imported. A search bar is available to help you navigate large batches.
If any listing is flagged as "missing required", look for the Sparkle Icon in the corner of that specific row. This connects you directly to Pcific AI to resolve the issue.
- Example: If you are listing Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones and see a missing information flag, click the Sparkle Icon for that row and ask, "What is missing?"
- The AI will reply with the exact required fields, such as weight, parcel size, and preferred shipping service.
- You can then simply reply, "2kg, small, protected shipping", and the AI will automatically update the listing.
You can use Pcific AI to fix missing details across multiple items, completely removing the need to edit each listing manually.
7. Create and Publish Listings
Finally, scroll down to preview your generated listings.
When you are satisfied with the previews, click the Create listings button at the very bottom of the page. You will be prompted to either:
- Publish now
- Save as drafts
You can also check a box to remember this preference for future bulk uploads. If you select "Publish now", the system will publish each listing one by one until the batch is completely finished.
Pro Tip for Sellers
That is all it takes! Your inventory is now live on Pcific. Please note that all newly published listings will sit in a pending state momentarily while our review staff completes a final check.
