Introducing Buildr and Findr.

Today we are introducing two new PCIFIC features: Buildr and Findr.

Buildr helps you plan a PC, compare builds and parts, and ask AI for practical advice before buying.

Findr helps buyers request items they cannot find, and helps sellers reply with matching live PCIFIC listings.

Together, they make PCIFIC more useful for real buying decisions. You can start with a build idea, check whether the parts make sense, browse what is already available, and request anything that is missing.

Buildr

Buildr is PCIFIC’s new PC planning and discovery space.

It brings together curated builds, existing marketplace PCs, individual PC parts, and AI guidance in one place.

You can use Buildr if you are planning your first PC, upgrading an existing setup, comparing complete systems, or trying to understand which parts work together.

Buildr helps with questions like:

  • What can I build for my budget?
  • Is this good for 1080p, 1440p, or 4K gaming?
  • Is this better for gaming or creative work?
  • Will this CPU and motherboard work together?
  • Is the power supply enough?
  • Will the cooler or GPU fit in the case?
  • What should I upgrade first?
  • Can I make this build quieter?
  • Can I reduce the cost without losing too much performance?

The goal is to make PC buying less confusing and more guided.

The 10 curated Buildr builds

Buildr launches with 10 curated PC builds.

These builds are starting points for different budgets, sizes, and uses.

You can open a build, view the parts inside it, compare the direction of the setup, and ask the AI how to adjust it for your needs.

Buildr categories

Buildr groups curated builds into clear categories:

  • 1080p Gaming, for budget builds and first gaming PCs
  • 1440p Gaming, the popular middle ground for strong gaming performance
  • 4K Gaming, for higher-end gaming
  • 4K Ultra Gaming, for premium, showcase, and very high-performance builds
  • Workstations, for editing, production, creative work, and professional use

These categories help buyers start with the outcome they understand, rather than starting with a list of technical parts.

Someone can begin with “I want a 1440p gaming PC” or “I need a workstation”, then Buildr helps them move into specific parts and listings.

Existing PC builds on PCIFIC

Buildr also lets users browse complete PCs that are already listed on PCIFIC.

Existing PC build categories include:

  • Gaming PCs, ready-made gaming rigs
  • Custom Built PCs, hand-built desktops from sellers
  • Windows PCs, pre-built Windows desktops
  • Apple Mac, Mac desktops and all-in-ones
  • Linux PCs, pre-built Linux machines
  • Other Desktops, extra desktop listings

This is helpful for buyers who want a complete system rather than a parts list.

They can compare curated ideas with real marketplace listings and decide whether to build, customise, or buy something already available.

Existing PC parts on PCIFIC

Buildr also has a parts browsing mode.

Users can switch between Pre-builds and Parts.

Parts browsing is useful for upgrades, replacements, repairs, and custom builds.

A buyer might be looking for:

  • CPU
  • Cooling
  • GPU
  • Motherboard
  • RAM
  • Storage
  • PSU
  • Case
  • Monitor
  • Peripherals
  • Accessories

Buildr keeps those parts connected to the wider build decision.

That matters because PC parts affect each other. A GPU needs the right power supply and case space. A CPU needs the right motherboard. A cooler needs to fit. RAM needs to match the platform.

Buildr gives buyers a place to check those details before buying.

Marketplace filters in Buildr

Buildr includes filters for browsing existing builds and parts.

Users can filter by:

  • Type
  • Condition
  • Price
  • Keyword search
  • Sort order

Condition options include:

  • Brand New
  • Like New
  • Excellent
  • Good
  • Fair
  • Poor
  • Spares and Repairs

Price filters include:

  • Any price
  • Under £500
  • £500 to £1,000
  • £1,000 to £1,500
  • £1,500 and above

Sort options include:

  • Newest
  • Price low to high
  • Price high to low

This helps users browse casually or narrow down to a specific budget, condition, or part.

Buildr AI

Buildr includes an AI assistant built around PC advice.

The assistant can help users compare budgets, games, workloads, upgrades, and part choices.

When a user opens a curated build, Buildr can load that build into the AI assistant. The AI can then answer based on the build being viewed, including the build target, price, theme, and loaded parts.

Users can ask:

  • Make this better for gaming
  • Improve this for creative workloads
  • Reduce the cost without hurting performance too much
  • Make this build quieter
  • Check compatibility and weak points
  • What should I upgrade first?

This is especially useful for people who understand what they want to do with a PC, but do not know which part choices matter most.

Compatibility and weak points

Buildr can help users check compatibility and weak points in a build.

It can surface issues and warnings, then let the user ask AI how to resolve them.

This helps with common PC building concerns:

  • CPU and motherboard compatibility
  • GPU and case clearance
  • Cooler fit
  • RAM platform fit
  • PSU wattage
  • Storage choices
  • Balance between CPU and GPU
  • Whether a build is overspending in the wrong area

Instead of leaving users to guess, Buildr lets them ask direct questions and get practical guidance.

Availability, links, and Findr requests

Buildr can show whether a PCIFIC listing is available, whether there are near matches, or whether a part has no matching PCIFIC listing.

When a verified product or listing link is available, users can open it.

When a part is missing or not currently listed, users can create a Findr request directly from Buildr.

Buildr can prepare the Findr request using details from the selected part, such as:

  • Part name
  • Category
  • Description
  • Budget when available
  • Reference links when available
  • A note asking sellers to reply with a matching PCIFIC listing

This keeps the workflow moving. If a part is not available, the buyer can ask the marketplace for it instead of starting over.

Findr

Findr is PCIFIC’s request board.

It helps buyers ask for items they cannot find, and helps sellers respond with matching listings.

A buyer can post a request for a specific PC part, device, complete system, model, colour, condition, or budget.

Sellers can then reply with live PCIFIC listings that match the request.

Findr is useful when search does not quite solve the problem.

Maybe the exact part is not listed.

Maybe the buyer wants a certain condition or price.

Maybe they are open to alternatives but want sellers to show what they have.

Findr gives that request a clear place to live.

Creating a Findr request

When creating a Findr request, buyers can add:

  • Title
  • Category
  • Description
  • Wanted condition
  • Budget
  • Location or delivery preference
  • Reference links

Findr can help suggest categories from the request title.

Examples include phones, tablets, laptops, consoles, monitors, GPUs, graphics cards, PC parts, and gaming devices.

Condition options include:

  • Brand New
  • Like New
  • Excellent
  • Good
  • Fair
  • Poor
  • Spares and Repairs

Reference links are useful when the buyer has seen an example product or image elsewhere.

The clearer the request, the easier it is for sellers to reply with the right listing.

How buyers access Findr

Buyers can access Findr from the Findr page on PCIFIC.

From there, they can:

  • Browse live requests
  • Search requests
  • Filter by category
  • Filter by condition
  • Sort by recent requests
  • Sort by popular requests
  • Sort by latest activity
  • Post a new request
  • Open a request thread
  • Close their own request when they no longer need replies

Each request can show useful details such as category, wanted condition, budget, delivery preference, reply count, and recent activity.

Posting a Findr request is free for buyers.

How sellers access Findr

Sellers can access Findr from the same Findr page.

They can browse buyer requests and look for requests that match items they already have listed.

When a seller opens a request, they can reply with a listing.

The seller reply can include:

  • A short comment
  • One of their live PCIFIC listings
  • A public listing attachment on the request thread

Inside the reply flow, sellers can search their current published listings and attach the right one.

If they do not have the item listed yet, they can create a new listing instead.

This gives sellers a practical way to respond to active buyer demand.

Why Findr helps sellers

Findr shows sellers what people are actively looking for.

A seller can use Findr to:

  • Find buyer demand for specific items
  • Reply with a matching live listing
  • Create a new listing when they see a useful request
  • Reach buyers who already know what they want
  • Understand which devices, parts, and systems people are asking for

For sellers, Findr is a way to connect listings to buyers with clear intent.

How Buildr and Findr work together

Buildr helps users plan the build.

Findr helps users find missing items.

A typical flow could look like this:

  1. A buyer opens Buildr.
  2. They choose a curated build, such as Refined or Stealth.
  3. They ask the AI if the build suits their budget, games, or workload.
  4. They check compatibility and weak points.
  5. They browse existing PCIFIC builds and parts.
  6. One part has no matching PCIFIC listing.
  7. They create a Findr request from Buildr.
  8. Sellers can reply with matching live listings.

This creates a smoother path from planning to sourcing.

The buyer does not need to abandon the build because one part is missing.

The seller gets a clear signal that someone is looking for that item.
